Dreamland Baby™ is a weighted blanket that baby can safely wear. Our products are designed to help your baby relax, fall asleep faster, and stay asleep longer. The gentle weight is evenly distributed from shoulder to toe, naturally reducing stress and increasing relaxation through deep touch stimulation.

Weighted blankets increase serotonin and melatonin, while decreasing cortisol. Through the power of deep pressure stimulation, baby feels calm and is able to sleep in longer stretches.

Our weighted sacks take the soothing, calming comforts of a regular sleep sack and give baby the sensation of being hugged.

The benefits of hugging and cuddling are well-established. When you're hugged, you feel more secure.

Dreamland Baby™ uses only the safest materials. The outer fabric is 100% soft, breathable cotton. Gentle on baby's delicate skin and cool to prevent over-heating. Our swaddle wing is cotton and with 7% elastic so it can be easily stretched around baby. The inner beads are non-toxic, non-recycled poly-pellet beads. This is the same material found in Beanie Babies® or other weighted toys on the market.

0-6 mo is indicated for infants 8 lbs and up (contains 0.8 lbs of beads)

6-12 mo is indicated for infants 15 lbs and up (contains 1.5 lbs of beads)

12-24 mo is indicated for infants 20lbs and up (contains 2.0 lbs of beads)

The 0-6 is 26'' shoulder to toe*

The 6-12 is 30'' shoulder to toe*

The 12-24 is 34'' shoulder to toe*

Remember when comparing to your infant's size these are shoulder to toe measurements, not head to toe. All sizes run true-to-size for each age range. If you are unsure which size to choose, go per your baby's weight before height.

Each size can shrink up to 1'' in the washing machine*

We do not recommend sizing up. Our products run true-to-size. For example, our medium (ages 6-12 months) will fit a baby who is 100% height/weight at 12 months. Although some babies weight may be high enough to fit into the next size up, if a portion of the weighted beads are below baby's feet, the product will not be as effective.

Although there is no way to prevent the 4 month sleep regression, there are techniques to manage your baby waking up more frequently in the night or taking shorter naps. This blog post provides tips on getting your baby through the 4 month sleep regression.  

Many babies see incredible sleep success the first night, while others take up to one week to adjust their sleep patterns. Consistency (nap and bedtime) is key when introducing something new to baby's bedtime routine.

Both! We recommend using Dreamland Baby for all sleep. There is no need to “save” Dreamland Baby for nighttime sleep. As baby gets used to the gentle weight, they will form a positive sleep association to their weighted sleep sack. Each time they see Dreamland Baby, it will serve as a sleep cue, signaling that it's time to go to bed.

Yes. The gentle weight is 10% or less body weight and will not restrict movement or weigh baby down. Baby can roll, sit, stand; anything baby can do in a non-weighted sleep sack.

Yes. The Dream Weighted Sack in 6-12 and 12-24 has a reversible neckline, designed for exclusive tummy sleepers who can independently roll from back to front and front to back. The gentle weight is 10% or less body weight and will not restrict movement or weigh baby down. Baby can roll, sit, stand; anything baby can do in a non-weighted sleep sack. Dreamland Baby™ is only weighted on the front, the back of the garment is like a regular, non-weighted sleep sack.

Both arms in: Place baby on top of open swaddle wings. Position wing below baby's shoulders with arms at sides. Wrap one side across baby's chest and secure it to the other side. One arm in: Position swaddle below babies shoulders. Wrap one side of swaddle wing across babies chest over one arm, and secure. Leave other arm out. Both arms out: Wrap swaddle around babies chest leaving both arms out. 

Absolutely! Sleep training is the process of helping a baby learn to fall asleep and stay asleep through the night. Dreamland Baby can be used in any of the three most common sleep training methods; the cry it out approach, the no tears approach or the fading approach. Consistency is a key element of all three approaches. Using Dreamland Baby for naps and nighttime sleep can make it an integral part of the sleep training approach.

The Moro reflex or startle reflex is usually a response to a loud noise, a sudden movement or the sensation of falling. The Moro reflex starts at birth and lasts for most babies until between 4 and 6 months. There is no way to prevent the Moro reflex but there are ways to help calm a baby experiencing Moro reflex. Dreamland Baby's gentle weight in combination with the swaddle wing helps to recreate the womb environment, helping your little one feel a sense of security. This helps soothe babies that are experiencing this startle reflex, leading to your little one feeling calm, falling asleep faster and staying asleep longer. Dreamland Baby is designed to withstand frequent washing. For longest life of the product, we recommend washing in cold water, on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry.

Yes it can. For example, your adult sized blanket would not be appropriate for your child. Weighted blankets should be appropriately 10% of your child’s body weight

Yes! As a mom of four, safety was my # 1 consideration during the development of our wearable weighted blanket. Dreamland Baby was developed in partnership with pediatricians, NICU nurses and certified sleep consultants. We pulled research from a clinical study demonstrating weighted blankets are safe for newborns, significantly increase calm feelings, and improve sleep patterns. Our products are safety certified, have passed all Consumer Product Safety Commission standards, are doctor approved, and the International Hip Dysplasia Institute acknowledges the Dreamland Baby Weighted Swaddle as a “hip-healthy” product when used as directed.

Dreamland Baby is made of a light weight, breathable 100% cotton fabric. The inner beads do not affect how hot or cool baby feels- this is dependent on the fabric. Our products are designed to be worn year-round in both warm and cool climates. In the summer, we recommend something light like a bodysuit. In the winter we recommend something heavier and warmer like fleece pajamas.

TOG is short for "thermal overall grade." The TOG rating determines thickness of the fabric. The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the garment is. Typical TOG rating for sleep sacks vary between 0-6, ranging from a very thin cotton to a super warm fleece fabric. Dreamland Baby has a TOG rating of 0.6. This is on the "lighter" side, meaning our weighted sleep sacks can be used year-round in both warm and cool climates. The TOG rating of 0.6 can be used as a guideline for parents to determine what to pair with their Dreamland Baby depending on the time of year and the temperature inside baby's nursery. For example, the Dreamland Baby could be paired with a onesie in the summer or paired with warm, long sleeve pajamas in the winter. The TOG rating should be used as a guide but every baby is different. It is the caregiver's responsibility to monitor baby's temperature and ensure baby does not get too hot or too cold.

As a mom of four, safety testing and a clinical trial showing safety were two of the most important pieces that had to be in place before I intorduced Dreamland Baby to market. My son has been sleeping in our weighted sleep sack since he was 6 months old. To be eligible for return, product must be returned in 30 days from order, in new, unused (unworn, unwashed) condition with the original packaging and tags. Any item deemed "used" will be ineligible for return. Original Shipping Charges as well as the cost to return an item is not refunded.

Bundles are sold as a single unit with a discount and not eligible for partial returns.

Dreamland Baby warrants that our products are free from any manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for a period of 6 months from the original date of purchase.
